Every Sunday in September we will be showcasing our huge collection of Dahlias, which is beginning to be recognised as one of the most varied collections in the country.
The hall and gardens will be open from 11am with events from 12pm until 4pm.
There will be book signings and demonstrations, guided tours, plant sales and talks from experts.
Gardener Fiona Alexander said: “Our dahlias are always a delight in late summer and so we decided that we needed to celebrate them and make enthusiasts aware of Kelmarsh as a dahlia venue.
“This is the first time we have done something like this and we’re hoping it will be the start of an annual celebration.”
There are almost 100 varieties of dahlias in the double borders within our walled garden.
The Dahlia Fiesta will take place on the four Sundays in September (7th, 14th, 21st and 28th).
