The Saloon
Beyond the Great Hall is the Saloon, which, decorated in a colour once described as ‘the Soul of Blue’ and with fine 18 th-century plasterwork and polished oak floorboards, has an ethereal charm that is ideal for Civil Wedding Services. From 3 full-length sash windows, the Saloon has spectacular views over the lake and open countryside, providing a glorious and romantic setting for your ceremony. Up to 90 guests can be seated for a civil ceremony in the Saloon. Bookings for the Registrar and payment of registration fees should be arranged direct with the Register Office in Northampton, Tel: 01604 745390.
