Dahlia Festival

In celebration of the impressive collection of dahlias at Kelmarsh Hall, a programme of specially-themed activities will take place on Sunday 3rd and Sunday 17th September.

The historical Walled Kitchen Garden is home to a wonderful, varied display of dahlias and in recent years new American-bred varieties have been added to the collection, as a nod to former resident Nancy Lancaster's American roots. Varieties that can be found at Kelmarsh Hall include Crazy Legs, Sassafras, Lucky Ducky and Junkyard Dog.

The festival will include a variety of events including Dahlia talks, garden tours, tastings and flower arranging demonstrations.
