The Kelmarsh Blog

Couples looking for a country house setting for their wedding are invited to experience the romance of Kelmarsh Hall during its open weekend starting on Friday October 10th.

The Hall will be set up for an evening reception from 6pm to 9pm on the Friday, to give couples the chance to see how spectacular Kelmarsh Hall is when lit up at night. There will also be examples of evening entertainment to demonstrate how couples can create their own bespoke wedding day.

This will be followed by two open afternoons on Saturday October 11th and Sunday October 12th, from midday to 3pm. Bride and grooms-to-be will have the opportunity to explore the Grade I listed Hall, which boasts panoramic views of the countryside and is set in picturesque gardens. Inside, the Ballroom and Saloon will be dressed for a wedding, with a number of carefully selected suppliers in attendance. The open afternoons will also give couples the first chance to view the newly restored Orangery, which is the perfect venue for more intimate ceremonies.

Kelmarsh Hall’s experienced wedding team will be on hand to answer any questions and discuss ideas.  For couples hoping to get married in the next 6 months, or those looking for something different to the traditional wedding day, there will be the opportunity to find out more about Kelmarsh Hall’s bespoke packages, including Fabulous Fridays and Sumptuous Sundays.
